Finishing

When I forge something for you, there are many finishing options available to protect the metal’s surface from oxidization. Depending on the look desired and the specific application, certain finishes are more suitable than others. I use a bee’s wax finish for much of my work. This gives the metal a rich dark look while still maintaining its reflectivity. Other common finishes involve using an acid as a blackener, or polishing and buffing the metal and then applying a clear-coat.
